In their Expo, the former pathology lab cult cinema screens One Minutes by artists from Albania, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Ireland, Netherlands, Somalia, Turkey, UK, and US. These films imagine, question, and re-stage what it means to vote and to come together as a community. Cast your ballot between 7:30 and 21:00.

We are pleased to inform you that the Florence Biennale Curatorial Board has reviewed your application and expressed its favourable opinion regarding your participation in the XVI Florence Biennale 2027.
The Florence Biennale is the major contemporary art and design exhibition in Florence and one of the world's leading contemporary art exhibitions. The latest edition (XV Florence Biennale 2025) welcomed over 600 artists and designers from 84 countries, was held under the patronage of European Parliament, Tuscany Region, Municipality of Florence and other important institutions, and was attended by more than 21,000 visitors.
The XVI Florence Biennale will take place at the Fortezza da Basso (Florence, Italy), from 23 to 31 October 2027, offering a rich programme of artistic and cultural activities for both participating artists and visitors. In addition to the main exhibition, the event will include collateral exhibitions, performances, workshops, conferences and lectures related to the theme of the new edition, which will be announced by June 2026.
